The 5 Minute Professional Development Challenge!

Instant oatmeal is my favorite breakfast food. There's something eloquently brilliant about instant oatmeal. It can be made in less than 1 minute, is delicious, and fills you up for an entire morning. You eat a McMuffin for breakfast, 10 minutes later your back starts to hurt and you're wondering if you should go to work or back home to take a nap.

Shouldn't our professional developments be the same way? Quick, nourishing, and something that helps get you through the school day? Not something that makes your back hurt and wondering why you just paid for that.

That's why we're unveiling... the 5 MINUTE PD CHALLENGE! Take a strategy, resource, cool idea, new book, fun thing you tried and create a 5 minute PD. You can write it, video it, draw it, interpretative dance it, whatever you want!

The 5 Minute PD Challenge has two rules:5 minutes or less!

  1. 5 minutes or less to learn!
  2. THERE ARE NO RULES! (Except rule number one, which is more of a guideline than a rule).
Include any thing that teachers might need to get started! (Handouts, links to sites, etc)

Create an awesome PD. Get featured in our blog, and get entered to win awesome prizes that are awesome in their awesomeness. When you're done, take a nap. You deserve it.
